UX Research Methods

Empowering Digital Design That Is Truly "User-Centered"

User experience research focuses on understanding user behaviors, needs, wants, and limitations. We deploy a variety of UX Research methods, depending on the stage of a particular project.

At the strategy stage, we do user interviews to produce Journey Maps and User Personas. These documents then serve as touchstones for the rest of the design process.

To support Information Architecture development, we use Card Sorting research. This allows us to uncover users’ mental models so that an intuitive architecture can be developed.

And as design emerges, we use heuristic reviews and usability testing – to identify user issues big a small, and empower design teams to address them.

We believe in iterative testing, guerilla methods, and are as comfortable being the “independent 3rd party” as we are integrating into a design team.
